A complete case history is taken detailing the problems you complain of, any known reason for their onset and aggravating and relieving factors. Your medical history is considered as well as that of close family members.

Every patient at The Chiropractic Clinic undergoes a full examination which includes physical, orthopaedic, neurological and Chiropractic tests.
X-rays may be taken to confirm the diagnosis or to rule out conditions which may not be amenable to Chiropractic care. The clinic has the facilities to both take and develop the X-rays on site.

Once diagnosed, your chiropractor can evaluate each case to ensure that the treatment proposed will give the very best results. It is the policy of the clinic to explain, in detail, the clinical findings so that you can appreciate your problem, how it can be resolved and give fully informed consent to the proposed treatment.
The chiropractor can embark on the course of treatment that suits you by "adjusting" the affected joints. This is a technique specific to chiropractors and involves a gentle direct and accurate pressure applied to the area with the minimum of force.
The rate at which you will improve depends on your age, occupation, lifestyle and on the history of the problem. Generally, the earlier treatment is started the more rapid the recovery. |
